Mujeres Mercado + SWU present: La Cultura Cura

July 12th is the second installation of #mujeresmercado! this time mujeres mercado presents a MAGICAL EVENING— honoring the medicines, resilience, and power of our people’s!!!

Our theme: La Cultura Cura brings together all that is beautiful about our shared & ancestral wisdoms in art, healing ways, and shared knowledges. We know our cultures run deep with traditional healers, and that from the pulgas, to our kitchen tables, to our contemporary independent businesses our Mamaz/ sistarz/ grandmas/ aunties and daughters have BEEN crafting livelihoods, creating “alternative economic systems”, and handing down tools for self-empowerment, community healing, and regeneration. It’s in our blood, y’all. La. Cultura. Cura.
