 “Domingo de Disfruto”- Handmade Shopping Event at the Vibrant Community Space

Mujeres Mercado and Southwest Workers Union (SWU) present “Domingo de Disfruto” a handmade holiday shopping event.  Featuring an all female artisan market, in-house DJ and cash-bar this is a free family-friendly opportunity to an evening opportunity to shop from over 20+ handmade artisans, all at the lovely Vibrant Community Space and  adjacent SWU Movement Gallery.

Domingo de Disfruto translates to Sunday of Joy.   Sunday the 30th we invite you to skip the big-boxes and hectic times usually associated with post-thanksgiving shopping, and make your dollars count by sharing a delightful time shopping handmade artisan goods at the Mujeres Mercado Vibrant Community Space. We’ll have over 20 artisans in-house, our fierce femaile DJ Despeinada spinning in-store, and cash-bar… bring your friends and ENJOY yourself… we can’t wait to see you!  This Sunday’s Domingo en Disfruto is a special mercado day offering a chance to shop from  the in-house community collaborating artists that are part of the Vibrant Communitie’s two-month pop-up shop PLUS a dozen additional artisans that are creating beautiful handmade artisan crafts including; jewelry, crocheted goods, handmade clothing, household items, one-of-a-kind holiday wreaths, vintage clothing, and visual arts.

The Vibrant Community Space is a two-month long holiday pop-up shop, and a project of Mujeres Mercado and Southwest Workers Union, co-sponsored by Yeyas Antiques Oddities.   Mujeres Mercado promotes and connects female artisans, performers and traditional healers.

Some confirmed contributing artisans include; DJ Despeinada,  Tk Karakashian Tunchez/ Las Ofrendas, Cristina M.
